Reading the chain…
The whole thing, plainly
Anyone can open a coin in a TikTok, Instagram, GitHub or X account’s name. The person who opens it does not receive its creator fees and cannot point them anywhere. The pad overwrites the recipient with an escrow whose address is computed from the handle itself. That escrow exists whether or not the account holder has ever heard of this site.
When they turn up and prove the account is theirs, they name a wallet and the escrow pays out to it. If they never turn up, the money stays where it is. Nobody else can reach it.
Every buy and sell on the bonding curve pays 1%. Pons keeps 30% of that as protocol revenue and books the other 0.7% as the coin’s creator fee. Whoever opened the duet may add an extra creator cut on top, up to 10%, which also goes to the account, not to them.
Getting that fee from the curve to the escrow is a public button, sweep, that anyone may press and that can only move money in one direction. Duet presses it for you; so can you, from a block explorer, forever, even if this website disappears.
When the escrow pays out, Duet keeps 10% of what it hands over. That is the only money the site makes, it is taken at payout rather than skimmed on the way in, and the contract caps it at 20% so it can never quietly become more than that.
You connect the wallet you want paid to, and we give you a code. That code is derived from your handle and that wallet together, which is the part that matters: a code tied only to the handle could be copied out of your bio by anyone watching and replayed from their own address. Yours matches only you.
Put the code where only the account holder can put it. Either works:
You also sign a sentence with your wallet (free, no transaction), so both halves are proved at once: the account is yours and so is the address about to be paid.
Once you have claimed, you can also take the fee stream itself: one call moves you into Pons’ own creator slot for that coin, after which the fees never touch this pad again, and neither does the platform fee.
